Robert L. Carter
Mr. Carter has 19 years of experience in the environmental engineering and science industry and manages Marathon’s Environmental Department. Mr. Carter focuses primarily on remediation issues throughout the Delaware Valley and is a licensed site remediation professional (“LSRP”) in New Jersey. As an LSRP, Mr. Carter has successfully closed thirty (30) cases with the issuance of response action outcomes. Mr. Carter is involved with completing and managing soil and groundwater projects including sampling and analysis; report preparation; and coordinating and negotiating approvals with the appropriate environmental regulatory agencies. His expertise is in storage tank management, environmental site assessments, remedial investigations and remedial actions, geological/hydrogeological investigations and land use permitting. Mr. Carter also has extensive experience with brownfields redevelopment projects including identifying various funding mechanisms at the federal and state level, determining appropriate cleanup levels and establishing appropriate engineering and institutional controls.
