MULLICA TOWNSHIP RECREATIONAL COMPLEX

Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. (Marathon) serves the Township of Mullica as its Municipal Engineering and Professional Planning consultant for all aspects of its needs, and has done so for over 10 years. One of the projects was the Recreation Complex Expansion.
This project included the planning of the ultimate expansion of the complex; obtaining State and County approvals for the complete project; and preparation of construction contracts in three phases to construct a Skate Board Park, Soccer Fields, Baseball/Softball Fields, parking and drives as well as an irrigation system. In addition to the detailed engineering design, Marathon also participated in the programming of the park, preparing applications and documentation to apply for grants for its construction, and provided construction liaison services to ensure the work was performed in accordance with contract documents.
The project approvals obtained by Marathon for this work was a Public Development Approval from the New Jersey Pinelands Commission and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Certification from the Cape Atlantic Conservation District.
