SITE PLAN AND PERMITTING
MERCURY SOLAR SYSTEMS

Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. was retained to prepare the Site Plan, Variance Applications and Planning Testimony to obtain approval to enable our client to construct a 0.5± Megawatt ground mounted carport type solar facility within the City’s Industrial Park zoning district. The installation is located at site of the World Class Flowers facility.
The project, in conjunction with the existing roof mounted panels at the site provides approximately 75% of the facility’s energy needs.
The car port type of installation is comprised of approximately 28,000 square feet of ground mounted solar array located in two individual areas at the site. Marathon prepared the site plan, performed a conflict site analysis and provided expert witness testimony at City Planning Board Hearings.
